15 Years of Eclectic Styles: How We Celebrated in Bayswater

Fifteen years. In Bayswater. On Guildford Road. That is not a small thing, and this June we
decided to actually stop and celebrate it properly.
Eclectic Styles Hair Studio opened its doors in 2011. Fifteen years later we are a team of
seven, we are still here, and we are more grateful for this community than words really
capture. So we threw a party that ran the whole month

 

 

 

The Claw Machine For the entire month of June we had a claw machine sitting right in the salon, loaded with over $3,000 worth of prizes. Mini hair care products, hair accessories and lucky dip capsules for every client who came through the door. Hidden inside those capsules were some serious big ticket prizes too, including a GHD Chronos hair straightener and a GHD Chronos curler. Every single client who visited us in June got a go. Watching people crack open their capsule not knowing what was inside was genuinely one of the best parts of our month.

 

Our Prize Winners Congratulations to our five major prize winners this June. We loved seeing your reactions and we hope you are already putting your new gear to good use.

 

The Cookies We also had a batch of personalised cookies made to mark the milestone. They looked almost too good to eat. Almost.

 

Fifteen Years, One Team   None of this happens without the people who show up every single day to make it happen. This June we got the whole team together for a photo, and honestly, looking at it says more about who we are than any caption could. Seven of us now, all committed to the same thing we started with back in 2011. Genuine care, honest advice and a salon where every single person who walks through the door feels like they belong.

 

From Me   This year I also brought my daughter into the salon for the first time. She has no idea what any of this means yet, but standing there with her, looking around at everything we have built, I felt something I still cannot quite put into words. Pride, gratitude, and a very deep certainty that every hard day along the way was worth it.
